Interesting if youve never seen it before. Your muffler is indeed one of the good German ones.. a Lange. Lange supplied them directly to VW, one of the OEM manufacturers. and yes... the application stamping always seemed to include far more models than it would really fit and omitted some of the ones it would... D'oh!
