[T3] Going to fix my windshield leaks, need some final advice

I work all day tuesday so on wednesday I am going to try to fix my
windshield leaks.  I've been cautioned against using plain old RTV.
Jim mentioned a 3M product but I know that if I don't go into the
store with the verbatum name on the label the teenager behind the
counter isn't going to know what I am talking about.  If I just ask
for windshield sealer they are going to try to sell me the glue used
on modern cars.

I need the specific name of the product.

Secondly I can't figure out how water is getting in the engine
compartment.

The seal is good on the ECU hole.  There is water on the right side of
the cargo area under the mat.  Could it be condensation?  We don't
have that dramatic temp. changes.
