I moved back from SF about a year and a half ago :) Been in Chicago the whole time with my T-3, though. Type-1s only until I adopted my square (a midwest-its-whole-life car, though surprisingly sound for its history) last February. > Do you work in the Loop, if so p-mail me, we can get > together for lunch. I'll p-mail you more info. > Add another 3-6 fair weather T-3's around here, makes > up a pretty fair group. Any other 'lurkers' out there > in Chi-land. Much to the disdain (I'm sure) of the t-3 group, I got the Square as my "winter car" so I wouldn't have to drive the Bug in the winter - the Bug's from Santa Cruz and pretty much rust-free, so I bought an already-somewhat-rusty Square that I'm trying to preserve as best I can. It's already considerably 'happier' than the PO left it, I'll have you guys know :) > Also seems like you found a guy that likes his job > wrenching VW's (good find) in the city! I am aware of Tony out there - a good friend (non-VW) lives a few blocks from the shop and I am known to ogle the cars on his lot for a bit when I visit my friend :) -- boinger <boinger@qamail.transora.com> ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
