[T3] Apparently pressure sensors are important...
<x-flowed>
Apologies in advance....I know this information has been covered somewhere
but I could use direction.
I have had mysterious troubles with my squareback. Today a friend I met from
the list came by and took a look at it. I casually mentioned that I have
changed the PS out in the past with another that came with the car and
before you knew it he revealed to me that the one I switched it to is
incorrect. (Well, darn it, they *look* the same!)
We switched them and got good results. The better working one is labeled:
311 906 051 B
The other is unlabeled.
He informed me that the letter at the end of the code should match the one
on the ECU. The ECU is:
311 906 021 D
My questions are:
How do I determine what the unlabeled PS goes to?
What are the consequences of my current PS/ECU mismatch?
Are either of these the correct part for my (5/72) squareback?
What is the appropriate distributor for my car?
Can someone give me a URL that has this info?
Thanks for your help
