When I did mine, I used normal wheel bearing grease. Its been working just fine for over 3 years. When you get ready to do the final roof section adjustment, let me know, and I'll walk you thru it. The info in Bentley is missing the last paragraph on the height adjustment (rear part that flips up and seals). The info is also available in the tech section of vwtype3.org, but you have to sift thru it to dig it out. I added the info to my Bentley so I knew where to find it. I was outside in the shop with the car and the Bentley (not in the house with the computer), and this worked well for me. I hope this helps. I am guessing I should lube them up somehow but I am just wondering the best way to do it, Bob 65 Notch S w/ Sunroof 71 Square- now a 2 seat Roadster, under construction Pictures can be seen here; http://photo.starblvd.net/bobnotch ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
