The official description of the model encompass' all the Late models mixing different features. Stamped on the bottom of the model is "VW 1600 1969- 1974". And this is the description on the Minichamps site. We know this is incorrect case at the least 69 has the different hood etc. But I think they tried to cram all the late model aspect into one model.
