Everyone seems to have problems with these, especially the Brazilian ones. I have to replace them every couple of years at the best. Bob Hoover has figured out a way to switch his brake lights with a microswitch on the pedal side of things. Some people claim that the silcone brake fluid is harder on them, but I can't be sure. It MAY just be that they seen to fail with the silicone quickly simply because they were already old when the silicone was installed. I heard that John Connelly was getting in some good German ones and I wanted to try them, but I haven't yet. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
