	Tried it... it just seemed to be fan-shroudy, probably left of center.

	What does a mechanically-failing generator sound like?  How 
does its noise change with rpms?

	I grabbed the gen. & crank pulleys in turn, and tried to make 
them wiggle in the directions they're not supposed to wiggle, but 
they seemd solid.
