[T3] Withdrawal Symptoms

Well, I see the "Northeast Blackout of 2003", not only silenced hubby's
work on his latest T3 project, but many of "voices" on the list as well. It was
one of those "priceless" moments. He had been welding in "new" floors in his
project, around 4:15 P.M. Eastern time, when the power went out, came up to
the kitchen window, and basically asks, " Did I do that?" :-P He thought he
blew the fuse to the garage, until he realized there was no power in the house
either. After waiting a few minutes, he turned on the stereo in the 69
squareback, and we began to get an idea of just how far reaching a problem it really
was. We were some of the luckier ones, only being w/o power for just over 12
hours.
Being asked to conserve power and water, we've kept the computer, ect.
turned off, and hubby out of the garage. Finally today, bored to tears,
gradually cooler outside tempuratures, seemingly stable electrical power, and ever
increasing water pressure, he decided to go out and do a bit more work on his
project this afternoon. Hopefully putting an end to his T3 withdrawal symptoms
for a bit.

So, how are others handling their unexpected "Three" day weekend?
