Have you checked the charging system regulating voltage? Measure the voltage 
across the battery after a drive to warm up the engine and get the battery back 
to it's "full" charge state, then with the engine still running at medium rpm 
the voltage should be 14.1-14.4V. If it is below 13.5V replace the voltage 
regulator with a Bosch 30-019.

Did the second mechanic tell you WHY he thought the pressure sensor was bad. 
It's true that they can go bad, but it's not that common and your post didn't 
mention that he did any tests. If he tested things, what did he find that was 
wrong with the pressure sensor.

I just want to keep you from going down the "let's just replace all the 
expensive parts and see if that helps" road.
