Well, I did that, and it was right smack in the dead
center between those two little marks on the stick.
Stuff was clean as can be too.

I thought that I mentioned it, but maybe I forgot.
When I went out to gather what info I could about it,
I chose the flattest road in the area and just drove
back and forth on it. Also, the same effect occurs at
high throttles if I am just driving around, say
appearing at about the 4/5 throttle region, with the
pedal almost but not quite all the way down.
It actually seems to happen less on hills, but maybe
I'm just not noticing it then...

Could this maybe be a normally mild timing issue
rearing up to bite me?
