i just picked up a 71 fastback. Im in centeral IL, bloomington area. anyway i removed the distrubitor and noticed that the heavier of the 2 advance springs does not seem to be used. I can move it throughout the range of motion before it comes into play. there is too mutch slack in it. is this normal? also the advance diaphram was leaking so I should replace it. also what is the recromended lubricant for the moving parts inside? i see there is an oil wick at the bottom. lastly the previous owner removed the fuel injection parts save for the computer and wiring, the load sesor and some odd parts.
