Well, that drip amounts to a small leak, and you'll want to fix it before it causes you more trouble. Make sure that your oil idiot light comes on when you turn the key ON. This is an important test of the idiot light, switch, and wiring. You REALLY want to know if you run out of oil and you lose oil pressure to your bearings. > also, it won't hold an idle. i warmed her up this > morning to move her across the street (street cleaning > nonsense) and she started, although a bit hesitantly > (is that a word?) and as soon as i took my foot off > the accelerator she died. i started her up again to > warm her up a bit but the hubby and i ended up pushing > her across the street. > > also, the fuel injectors i bought off ebay (four for > about $100, brand new!! don't be jealous!) came in > today so i'm going to get those in as they needed to > be replaced. Don't forget that I'll gladly buy the old ones once you're finished. ;-) -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
