Well, if its the old dealer installed unit, it should look like a Briggs and 
Straton lawnmower engine hanging there. In the 60s and 70s the compressors 
were the York model, and they were big and used alot of engine hp to operate, 
unlike todays small efficient units. At least my old Square had one of those York 
models on it when it died (the VW engine). I hope this helps.
