Discovered a while ago that my gas tank was bone dry... Have taken the opportunity to replace all the fuel lines and checked the condition of the gas tank. I also figured I'd do the brakes now as I can probably get to the master cylinder fairly easily. Is there anything else I might want to check, replace, or recondition while there is the "benefit" of no fuel in the system? Also, there is one part I can't seem to identify (couldn't find it in the Bentley or Clymer, etc). On the front torsion beam on the opposite side of the fuel pump was a flat, circular canister that was connected to the pressure (middle) part of the fuel pump, through this canister and a line that goes down the tunnel. Also, my fuel pump bracket didn't seem to be connected to the lower rubber bushing. It just seemed to "rest" there. Is that normal?
