You need to verify that all the tune-up stuff is correct and that the system voltage is right. Verify that the vac and mech advances are both working. And change the PS back to the correct one. The car WILL seem to run just fine even though it is running rich. The only effect of running rich will be low gas mileage, high emissions, and increased ring and cylinder wall wear.
