Certainly if it is installed and running well in a vehicle it is worth 
maintaining, and it's a good engine. I just meant that for someone looking to 
upgrade to a super engine, this really was not a worthwhile route to start 
down, simply because there are SO MANY parts that would have to be replaced to 
get it up to 2.0L.  

If you're just carrying this around thinking that it would make a good upgrade 
someday, then my take on this is that you could upgrade your 1600 to 1700 or so 
for about the same money and a lot less hassle.
