Physics won't help me here. I think these three choices pretty much exhaust the 
possibilities, and I know that the amount that actually goes into useful work 
is pathetically small, so these numbers aren't absurd. But I can't do better 
than that.

For us, we have to remember that the middle 1/3 is really all the heat lost 
thru the cylinder walls, the head, and the piston, so a lot of this makes its 
way outside via the oil.
