Recently there was a discussion here about replacement gaskets for the cover over the generator pulley. Just this week I cam across some material that looked similar to the OE gasket material, so I grabbed a bit and took it home. Today I dug out my single NOS gasket and compared it to the material I found here and, lo and behold, I CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE. I still have to play with this a bit to make sure I can bond it into a circle successfully, but my preliminary tests look good. Anyone who would like one should email me directly. I should know before the weekend is out whether this will work and how much I will want for one.
