I disagree, if not totally butchered

Most wiring harness' dont need to be touched.  Unless someone has been at it
with the cutters and scotch lok's there little to wear out. The exception is
some of the connectors may be corroded but simply cut them off and crimp or
solder on a new one.  Replacing the harness on eather of my cars would be a
HUGE job.
