[T3] ISP West (was: RE: [T3] Question for seller -- Item #1858963890)

Hey guys-

My two cents on this is that ISP West does serve as a great place to
find those hard to get parts, but not everyone can afford their price on
some of these items. I think they are just trying to offer to the common
daily driver an item of sufficient quality that would just work in
whatever application they are stating. If it is of paramount interest
that the part be 100% original and restoration grade, he or she should
be expecting to pay a premium for it. I have done lots of business with
Anthony over at ISP West and I have to say that I have never had a
better experience with any other vendor with regards to QC and customer
service. If you do have a problem, they are the first to offer to
rectify the situation, even if it is at cost to them. I can give
numerous examples of situations where the problem wasn't even their
fault, but they took care of it nonetheless. Once again, my two cents
:-)

Take care,

ISP West always has a LOT of stuff on auction at ebay, but a few days
ago I
spotted a pair of side mirrors which they were selling as type 3
mirrors.
These are clearly not type 3 mirrors, and my guess is that they aren't
even
VW mirrors. I emailed them to point out the error and eventually got
this
response.

Apparently they feel that there is no problem with what they are doing
as
long as people don't catch on. I present this here only so those of you
on the
list will become aware of their deception and their general attitude.

If you want to check them out for yourself go to:

Sorry, but you'll have to paste it back together.
