The trim is bent to shape and not too friendly to install. It is still available for all USA VW's. The seals can generally be used only one time, though two to three chances per trial. I just bought some for a couple of my bugs. I generally let the hands install the trim. I'm pretty good at bitching if it's wrong. BTW. it's easy take the rubber off - all one has to do is cut the rubber. But reinstalling the rubber is a bitch, requiring some heavy-duty string about 1/32-inch in diameter and 1.5 times as long as the rubber that you are gonna install. Ask you local FLAPS how to install the rubber.
