Shifts into second that tend to get hijacked into R instead tend to indicate either worn shifter parts or misadjusted shift lever parts. If the bushing and coupler are new, and properly installed, then I would suspect the adjustment of the position of the plate under the shift lever. It needs to be positioned so that you can't get into second unintensionally, although I have no idea why this should be temp dependent. > As well as recently added new grease to the tranny.
