But, now remove the oil cooler from the car completely. Now, drive it again. Note head and oil temps, and let us know whatcha find. I found that it doesn't change a notable amount at all. Or, for a counter-test, remove the fan from the engine and then drive the car. I've done this too, but never on purpose and never for very long. Head temps SKYROCKET!
