<x-charset iso-8859-1>I work for a VW shop in Christchurch New Zealand and a couple of our owners have a little "black box" device that is fitted to their 6v cars (both KG's by chance) that allows them to run a 12v CD/cassette unit. I don't believe that it produces sufficient to run an amp or anything too big. The most recent one changed hands for $NZ20.00. He took to an auto electrician to have it tested, the AE prised the lid off and gave up trying to figure out how it did what it did. But it worked.
