There were originally lockwashers and nuts that held the terminals on the coil. I'd try to find some metric nuts to put back on there. If someone has soldered them in place this might be difficult, so you could either work at this (solder is soft) or do a better job of soldering so that the connection is secure. > >jim a, does it look like i need a new (new to me) one? you said you had > >good replacements? I have good used OE coils, which is what this one appears to be, but I would fix what you have. This would be cheaper and easier than buying a replacement. I would avoid aftermarket replacement or hi-performance coils unlees you expect to race and spend a LOT of time above 6000 rpm.
