The easiest way to determine if you have a 6 vlt or 12 vlt, is to just look on the top of the Battery. Onlt too obvious huh? I don't want to sound rude in any way. Please don;t take offense. Most times the battery has the Voltage imprinted on top. I know too simple. But after 66 or 67 (I think) the T3's came only in 12 vlt systems. So your pretty safe there. Did the smell come from the fron of back of the cabin? The heater motors are usually located in the back underneath the backseat next to the regulator or the battery in line with the heater channels. OR they could be installed underneath the car where the heater box to body connection is. If you cannot find them just open the decklid, follow the heater box under the car and follow the path to where the heater box attaches to the rubber heater tube then to the body. It should be right there if there is one. 2 or 3 speed swithes are available for the electric fan. Matter of preference. I hope this helps. --- James Wallace <wallacej@ohsu.edu> wrote: > Think it was the motor.
