<x-charset iso-8859-1>> Then there is one with 4 screws on top that everyone seems unable or unwilling to rebuild... this was on my Notch when I got it... and is dated 11/65 is this the correct pump for the 66 and up? or is it a bug pump? why are they unrebuildable as compared with the other?? > I don't think they are unrebuildable but it is possible the kits are not available, I have never looked. The talk earlier of the 61-65 "single screw-top" fuel pump kit being available on eBay was from a seller of old stock parts. Doing a crosscheck of my Type 3 vs. Bug parts books shows a 111 part # for Bug/Bus rebuild kits and a 311 part # for Type 3s so there is a difference, which I think is the size/# of coils used on the Type 3 fuel pump diaphragm to produce an increased fuel pressure. -- Everett Barnes everettb@thesamba.com http://www.thesamba.com ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
