I dont understand it either unless I had them the other way around when I first rebuilt the enigne so the leak was not as great. Hard to say, but it took quite a bit of work on the glass with 220 grit wet sandpaper. I would guess it was a several thousands (5-10) maybe. I will be putting her back together as soon as I get the word on the gasket material. I will let everyone know how it goes.
