When that carb quit working in the middle of Nebraska, I could not get the jet to click. I cut the pin off in the jet to make sure it wasn't causing the problem. BTW, this is a 6V engine. John, have you pulled the top off that carb, and check the fuel level in the bowl?? My left carb on my '66 had a bad needle valve in it, and was not letting fuel in.
