<x-charset iso-8859-1>RyanL=> It sounds as though one cannot just => take a type 3 into an alignment place and => expect it to be done right. Totally, in fact getting it done right would be a huge stroke of luck. Learn the procedure yourself, take the manual with you, show them the pages while explaining the procedure, and you just might be able to get them to do it right. It's not that it's hard, it's just unlike any common VW and 30 years in the past. => can it be that the long standing shimmy in the => front end can be from regular alignment => shops not aligning it accurately? Uh-huh. Steven Ayres, Prescott AZ '66 343 ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
