Peter,

	How are the splines on the axle / brake drum hub connection? 
On our '71 with the split drum/hub, the big nut had been a bit loose 
-- this made the splines on the axle and hub beat against each other, 
and damaged the drum hub.  (Do you have one piece drums or split 
drums on the '66?)  Might be good to have a look at this.
