I have a bus that I built a 1600 sp for and I semi hemi cut the heads, kept a strict eye on compression and set it at 6.9:1. I can not get this bus to detonate ...at all! I run this truck fully loaded up hills, in the heat, etc.. and never have a problem. I guess I could get it to pink if I advanced the timing WAY too much, but that's just silly. I run regular too. Is it that the T3's run that much hotter...more stressed??
