Yeh Jim, She does have Shiney Solexs, the only FI's in type3s I've seen in Australia have been in a few fastbacks. From my knowledge not many type 3s had them. My thinking is that they didn't really work that well and by the way you guys in ths States keep going on about how good they are, I tend to think that with all the dust and heat down here that they didn't work the best. I know a lot of the mid to late 70's T2s had FI in them. But I remember my mechanic around the mid 80's saying it was a very popular conversion for them to be changed to twins. But I don't remember ever seeing many type 3s with the standard exhaust system, that exits via the left side but into a set of extractors that came out on the right side of the car. Does anyone know if they were a very popular option in Australia or if they maybe became standard for a while down here in latter cars, because fo many years I thought that was how the latter models were, twin solex's with extractors.
