The Type 34 never had a stock tach. It was an optional extra made to look
like the other instruments. The standard Type 34 instruments are the same as
those on the Type 3; only the casing was changed a bit so that they would be
cosmetically different, and the method of mounting in the dash was different
too - screw-on, L-shaped brackets.

These are 1965-style Type 34 instruments; earlier and later ones differed
slightly in detail:
