Every type 3 has both. The large one is the real fan and resides in the case 
alum fan housing; it mounts on the tail of the crankshaft. The small one is 
the generator pulley and mounts on the hub of the big fan. A single large bolt 
passes thru both and draws them together with the crank.  

I believe all type 3 fans are alike, but the pulleys vary because the timing 
marks on them changed occasionally.
