We had a couple threads awhile back about rebuilding the stock T3 fuel pumps. I've gotten my hands on a couple NOS rebuild kits, and have looked into the fuel pressure capabilities. I got four kits, one '65 and older "one bolt", and three '66-'67 "four bolt". The main diaphragm spring rate was higher on the early and one of the late kits. These two springs were one gauge thicker wire (.051 vs. .060 inch). Spring load at about 40% compression was 4.0 vs. 6.0 lbs. My fuel pump has been pumping 3.5 psi, and I thought it might be low compared to the spec. in Elfrink, which is 4.5 psi max. When I rebuilt it today, I noted the diaphragm in there was the thicker gauge with higher spring rate, so it's probably correct. I rebuilt the pump with the thick gauge spring, so I don't know what pressure the thin spring will produce. I think the thin one is the "bug" kit that does less pressure. I would like to sell the three extra kits I have, $15 including shipping. I would be willing to tweak the two later thin springs up to a higher rate if anyone wants. I also can refer folks to a guy who has more of the early kits. The late kit comes with upper and lower diaphragms, gaskets, and a fuel filter cone. The early pump doesn't have the upper diaphragm, so the kit doesn't include this, but does have the thick spring.
