That probably was the leak. Watch to make sure that stopped it.

Grab the air outlets at each side of the fan housing and see if you can move 
the fan housing independently of the engine. If so, the little screws that 
attach it to the case have come loose and are rattling against the fan. You 
MUST fix this, or the fan will be destroyed.

Otherwise look for something loose. The ends of the heat shield on top of the 
OEM muffler are common rattle sources.
