If you have everything oriented right this can be put back very quickly and even in the dark, but you have to know exactly where to feel for it. Another possibility would be to just remove the fuse that supplies the fuel pump relay. This can be somewhat risky, however, because those fuses are somewhat fragile and you can break the element without realizing it.
