<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi Will, Best thing with wing morrors with cracked glass is to get a glass company to cut a new piece of mirror glass, and then stick it in with silicone sealer. Don't use contact adhesive eg as that will remove the reflective layer! I think stainless was generally used later on than 66 - more like 70. Even then, many of them were chrome plated. The rounded mirrors are not very common these days - the cast stems tend to break if any attempt is made to dismantle them. I have the odd rounded mirror, but I'm not sure of the side without checking it out. Dave.
