<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi all, Back to an old thread, because I had the time to investigate what was going on, and hopefully fix it. I found the hole that the filler tube screws into, and found that the hole wouldn't line up with the bracket. This was the problem of course, the filler tube, which was unattached at the top and wobbling around, was facing far off to the left. I removed the tube from the tranny, gave it a good clean and reattached it at the proper angle. The O ring looks intact, but the washer was missing from the bolt (unless it fell inside the tranny when I removed it ;~) ). The tube is now rock rigid, and pointing in quite a different direction to what it was before. Whether I have actually managed to seal it or not we will find out tomorrow, 'cause a friend of mine is supposed to be coming over to give me a hand removing the fuel tank, so I'll have him pour ATF in slowly, and I'll see if I can see it leak. So thanks to Russ and Jim for your help, as usual.
