Yeah I know what you mean Dave, I too have Webber 34 ICTs on my Notch, and am forced to use the K&N type filters as they hold the carb linkage on mine (must be an older set). I'm also using the hex bar linkage too (came with the kit I got). I plan to eventually rebuild a set of solex 32s so I can use the stock air cleaner and linkage set up that I already have. You might want to look for a stock set up (carbs, linkage, and air cleaner) and bolt that stuff to your Webber manifolds (same size and bolt pattern).
