Most laptops have a proprietary IDE connector, so getting a standard DVD to
fit is a bit hard. You could buy a FireWire PCMCIA card, and a FireWire DVD
player, that would probably still be in the $6-700 range though.

Or, you could go and buy a new one, but it depends on whether you want to
spend $4K on something to pull apart and put in your car ;-)

BTW. Are you going to come down to the run to Raglan? The Auckland club,
Hamilton and Tauranga are all meeting up for it this Sunday, hopefully it
will be good weather for it! ;-)
