Can you > describe the part and where it is located? Jim, I posted a picture on TS of what I'm looking for. I think I found someone with a steering shaft from a '65. Hopefully its what I need. I suspect that my shaft (steering shaft that is) had them removed when the ignition lock broke and the DPO decided that removing them and disabling the locking function was cheaper than replacing the lock. The "shells" don't have a number just the column tube sealing ring.
