Actually, they are good in my case. I thought it might be coming from the door, but I cleaned both drains and poured a bit of water down the side to see if it would make into the cabin, but that didn't pan out for me. Thanks for the thought though, Wade -----Original Message----- From: type3@vwtype3.org [mailto:type3@vwtype3.org] On Behalf Of Todd Heimer Sent: Thursday, November 21, 2002 5:29 PM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: Re: [T3] Water leaks from the heater channels? Hi Wade, That sounds exactly like the rain that has been soaking my '68 squareback in nearby Laurel MD. I think the clouds are conspiring against us. How are the seals on your pop out windows? I ask because I get water buildup in the exact locations you described, and my pop-out window seals look terrible - especially on the drivers side, which must have been in the sun during it's 20 year storage. at any rate, i can see daylight between the body and the seal on the glass. Maybe this is your trouble too? PS. If anyone knows where to get type III window seals WITH the groove for the chrome trim, please help. -Todd ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
