1. Replacement inner and outer popout rubber from West Coast Metric - good or bad? Good... but use lots of soap on the inner ones... or better yet KY Jelly if you dont mind driving out of town to Get enough at the Pharmacy... :) 2. Replacement pop-out latch to glass seals - good or bad? Even available? I didnt need any but I dont live in Arizona eather. 3. Are replacement pop-out latch chrome "buttons" available? The chrome pieces that sit on the outside of the pop-out glass is heavily pitted on my '63. I might have some... 4. Popout hinge anti-rattle seals(?) - I pulled one of my popouts out of my '63 Squareback and it had a little bit of rubber stuck to the inside of each popout hinge, which fell apart when I touched it. Has anyone ever replaced this? It looks like standard thin rubber. You can make do with RTV... glob some on, shim the window to the right position and let it cure. it has plenty of give for the small amount of motion. 5. Do you have to remove the popout frame vinyl trim near the hinge (on the body) to reinstall the popout window? I dont think so.
