> You should examine the whole driver's side wheel well inside arch from about > 12 O'clock to 8 O'clock. > And after repair, do the other side too! This area is a a good candidate for the thin fibreglass cloth, that drapes into the crevices well, and is plenty strong enough to bridge the lattice of small holes you will find. Inspect the rear seat-belt mountings carefully, particularly if you use rear belts; it may need a proper welding repair. Clean the surfaces well and it's a long lasting repair. Get to the other side as well to stop any rust starting there, or spray wax preservative into the area by removing the lower fender bolts. You may find the panels behind are getting a bit rusty too.
