H4 is a dual filament bulb, H1 is a single filament bulb an is used for low or hig beam only (needs double headlights).H4 is the way for you to go, and a 7" round universal unit is commonly available.Hi all -
One of my headlights just went out and I figured now is a good time to upgrade. Does anyone have experience with fitting the newer, replaceable bulbs, type of headlight? I can't figure out the difference between the H4, H1, and Hb2s.
Is it the lever tht click or the relay? I'm not sure if the 69 has the relay, but if so you should replace it. It's the same as in Bugs and should be available.
Also, my high-beams haven't functioned for a while. The lever on the column doesn't even click when pulled back. Any ideas?
