You learn something new every day. It looks like the reason that my car was conking out is the same reason the fuel gauge stopped working. There is a significant amount of rust in my gas tank. I didn't expect that to be the case, but it is. There is about a cup worth of rust down there and a big clump of it attached to the screw on the bottom of the sending unit.

1) Anyone know a place I can get a T3 gas tank? These seem hard to come by. Is there any recommendable alternative to replacement?

2) Any advice on how to deal with a fuel injected system that's gotten rust in it?

3) Any advice on repairing the sending unit? Can I avoid getting a new one?

As always, I genuinely appreciate any and all help.
