[T3] strange idling
<x-flowed>ever since a shop adjusted my idle switch (i verified it with bently to be
correct), my car has been idling high when in nuetral with the clutch
pressed in. when i start my car up on a cold morning, it idles correctly,
about 950-1000 rpm, but as it warms up the idle keeps rising (slowly) with
the clutch pressed in. if i let out the clutch, in nuetral, the idles drops
to about 900. if i then press in the clutch it goes back up. sometimes as
high as 1500-1600 rpm. it seem to vary on how cold it is outside and how
warm the engine is.
i removed the aux air reg and cleaned/lubed it a while back, but if it were
sticking shouldnt my high idle happen even with out the clutch pressed?
could it be miss adjusted cluth freeplay? but that shouldn't matter if it is
in nuetral. the car is a 1970 FI, all stock.
any ideas? thanks
